Adobe Connect 9.3 Upgrade

Today it was announced that the Adobe Connect 9.3 upgrade will be coming in late fall. Adobe will contact hosted customers directly, providing a 30-day notice before automatically upgrading accounts. Any organizations with Adobe Connect hosted by ConnectSolutions, should work with their Enablement point-of-contact to review version requirements, and if they choose to upgrade, schedule an upgrade window.
Adobe Connect 9.3 will also include integration with Microsoft Lync. The Lync add-in will enable customers to quickly jump into an Adobe Connect meeting room directly from your Lync Contact list.
Other feature enhancements include social media integration, enhanced white boarding and a better user interface for screen sharing.

Another important thing to be aware of is that the Adobe Connect 9.3 upgrade will also require a new Adobe Connect plugin. This new plugin (version 11.9.970.233) is currently available for download and install. Any user that will be screen sharing or uploading a PowerPoint document in Connect will need this plugin.
